Ahmadvali Hotek defeated Russian opponent and won the WTKF belt
Afghanistan’s national freestyle wrestler Ahmad Wali Hotak defeated his Russian opponent last night to win the WTKF championship belt.
Hotek competed in the 70 kg weight category at the World Open Series in Minsk, Belarus against Saige Zirkov or Sziged (Zirkov).
After a three-year absence from international competitions, this renowned athlete forced his opponent to submit using the submission technique and recorded his eleventh professional victory.
This victory, which is Hotek’s first match after a three-year hiatus, has been widely welcomed by his fans on social media and has been described as a national honor.
Hotak, who has fought for the Afghan flag in MMA for more than a decade, continued his recent undefeated record with this achievement.
