Qatar sends four planes carrying humanitarian aid to earthquake victims in eastern Afghanistan

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that four planes carrying humanitarian aid, including two mobile hospitals, food, medicine, and shelter equipment, have arrived in Kabul to help earthquake victims in the eastern provinces of the country, especially in Kabul.

This aid, provided by the Qatar Fund for Development and transported in conjunction with the international rescue team led by Maryam bint Ali Al-Musnad, Qatar’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, will cover approximately 11,000 people affected by the 6.0-magnitude earthquake that struck on the evening of Monday.

The Islamic Emirate has welcomed continued international cooperation to meet the urgent needs of earthquake victims.
