Nickolay Mladenov, the senior representative of the Peace Council in the Gaza Strip, announced that the Hamas movement has put forward a set of conditions in exchange for its disarmament.
According to a report by the Hebrew network News 24, the Gaza Peace Council concluded another round of talks with a delegation from Hamas in Cairo this week, during which the issue of the movement’s disarmament was discussed.
The Hamas delegation in these negotiations has rejected discussion of disarmament until Israel makes progress in implementing the first phase of the ceasefire and has called for amendments to the agreement.
