According to the Palestinian Ministry of Public Health, five more people have died from hunger and malnutrition in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours.
Including these cases, the total number of famine-related deaths in the region has reached 263, 112 of whom are children.
The ministry has warned of the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza and called for urgent action by the international community to lift the blockade and send humanitarian aid.
