India rejects Pakistan army’s accusations of involvement in Waziristan bomb attack
According to India Today, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has categorically rejected the allegations made by the Pakistani military that India was involved in the deadly June 28 bomb attack on a military convoy in North Waziristan.
The Pakistani military had claimed that India was involved in the bomb attack that killed 13 soldiers and three civilians, including two children and a woman.
“We reject these allegations with complete disgust and condemn the attempt to pin the blame on India,” the Indian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called the attack a “cowardly act.”
The Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, a branch of the Pakistani Taliban (TTP), claimed responsibility for the attack.
