The Prime Minister of Israel has sent a delegation to Qatar while Donald Trump’s representative for the Middle East, Steve Wittkoff, met with Benjamin Netanyahu in the midst of efforts to establish a ceasefire in Gaza.
According to the Reuters report, the statement of Netanyahu’s office stated that after this meeting, Netanyahu sent a high-level delegation including the head of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad to Qatar in order to advance negotiations for the return of Hamas hostages in Gaza.
An Israeli official has said that progress has been made in indirect negotiations between the regime and the Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas) with the mediation of Egypt, Qatar and the United States to reach an agreement in Gaza.
