Reuters reported that Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle and father-in-law of Britain’s Prince Harry, has been arrested in the US state of Florida on charges of possessing child sexual abuse images.
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has said that Thomas Markel is accused of targeting innocent children and possessing images in which he is seen naked with underage girls.
The US Department of Justice has announced that if convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
This is despite the fact that Thomas Markle has previously denied the allegations against him, calling them “lies.”
