The US State Department has approved three potential military arms sales to the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Kuwait, worth a total of approximately $2.27 billion, and these packages have been notified to the country’s Congress for review.
The largest arms package is for the United Arab Emirates, worth about $1.04 billion, which includes the sale of up to 10,000 APKWS-II guided systems.
Egypt is also set to receive Javelin missile systems worth $832 million, and the value of Patriot system repair and support services for Kuwait has been announced at around $400 million.
