The explosions occurred on Friday in a part of a military base in the Viacha region, about 30 kilometers from the Bolivian capital La Paz, which was used to store fireworks.
Health officials and local police said the blasts killed 10 to 15 people and wounded 62. Fourteen others, including a girl with third-degree burns, were taken to hospitals in La Paz.
Police say fireworks were stored at the base, but the real cause of the explosions is still unknown and the investigation is ongoing, and seven people are still missing.
Firefighters have warned that a heat source still remains at the site and there is a possibility of another explosion. Residents of the area have also been asked to stay at least 150 meters away from the base.
