London and Islamabad discussed Afghanistan and regional developments
Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is on a five-day visit to the UK to discuss developments in Afghanistan, Middle East tensions and security cooperation with senior British officials.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said Dar had held separate meetings with British Foreign Secretary Jonathan David Lammy, National Security Adviser Paul and Prime Minister Stephen Doughty to discuss the situation in South Asia and Afghanistan.
The two sides also exchanged views on diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East, encourage dialogue and peaceful resolution of crises, and expand cooperation in the fight against terrorism and security.
