New images of an oil tanker hitting a naval mine near the Strait of Hormuz have been released
The media has released new images of a fire and explosion on an oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have said that the tanker hit a naval mine while passing through a route that Tehran considers unauthorized.
However, the British Maritime Trade Operations Organization has reported that an oil tanker was targeted by unidentified projectiles as it exited the Strait of Hormuz. Independent and definitive details about the cause of the incident have not yet been released, and reports about a naval mine strike and a missile attack differ.
