Iranian media reported that three powerful explosions occurred in different parts of downtown Tehran moments ago.
Explosions were heard in the areas around Enghelab Square, Enghelab Street, and intersections near Tehran University, and thick smoke was seen in the sky in these areas.
At the same time, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced in a brief statement: “We have launched a preemptive strike against Iran.”
News sources have not yet confirmed the exact details of the location of the explosions, the extent of damage, and possible casualties, and the situation in Tehran is still being investigated.
This incident occurs at a time when tensions between Iran and Israel have reached a peak in recent weeks.
