According to information recorded in the Pentagon’s combat casualty system, 29 sailors and 9 Marines were seriously injured during the country’s military aggression in the Middle East in September.
The New York Times reported that since the start of the US war with Iran on February 28, 19 American soldiers have been killed and 418 others have been seriously injured. Based on the same data, 443 American soldiers have been injured during the aggression in the Middle East since the end of the 40-day war on May 5.
The US Navy did not provide further details about the reason for the increase in the number of injuries in September, but stated that the information recorded in the combat casualty system was confirmed after the necessary checks.
