Israeli officials said that a car sped towards a police vehicle and hit a lighter at a security checkpoint; according to these officials, Israeli forces martyred the driver of the car at the scene.
The Israeli ambassador to the United States has also cut short his trip to New York and his attendance at the United Nations General Assembly alongside Benjamin Netanyahu and returned to Israel due to his son’s condition.
