Ihab Hamadeh, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance faction in the Lebanese parliament, said that resistance fighters in the Ali Taher area have stood up to Israeli forces and have created a “Karbala-like epic.”
At a graduation ceremony held by Hezbollah’s Educational Mobilization in Hermel, Hamadeh emphasized that Israel’s devastating attacks cannot erase the history and memory of the people of southern Lebanon, adding that the Lebanese people will rise from the ground like a phoenix.
These statements were made after Israeli warplanes, in their continued attacks on southern Lebanon, destroyed the building of the Shahid Mahmoud Faqih public school in the city of Kafr Tibnit. As a result of this attack, the possibility of students attending this school has been eliminated.
