Local sources reported on Tuesday morning (15th of September ) that Abu Osama al-Batsh, a commander of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a car on Saftawi Road in the north of Gaza City.
According to the report, a number of local residents were also killed and injured in the attack.
Reports add that the attack was carried out by Israeli warplanes.
