North Korea shows off its firepower

North Korean state media announced that the country held a fire attack drill yesterday involving artillery and rocket batteries of the Korean People’s Army.

The exercise took place a day after the end of joint military exercises between South Korea, the United States and Japan.

North Korea’s Korean Central News Agency reported that battalions from five joint artillery and missile divisions participated in the drill, and used attack drones, tactical cruise missiles, large-caliber multiple rocket launchers with thermobaric warheads, and tactical ballistic missiles.
