Minister of Industry and Trade Noureddine Azizi met with Nikita Kornienko, Minister of International and Interregional Cooperation of the Chelyabinsk Region of Russia, and discussed expanding economic and trade relations.
In this meeting, coordination between traders on both sides regarding the export of Afghan goods to Chelyabinsk, the import of modern Russian machinery and technologies, and banking transactions were reviewed.
Azizi said Afghanistan was ready to establish a center for supplying Russian goods in the country and a market for Afghan goods in Chelyabinsk province.
The Chelyabinsk minister also welcomed the expansion of trade with Afghanistan and invited the Islamic Emirate delegation and representatives of the private sector to visit the province.
