Ukrainian officials target Russian drones with artificial intelligence

Ukrainian military officials say an examination of the remains of Russian drones in the southeast of the country shows evidence of the use of artificial intelligence systems to identify and select targets in the final phase of the attack.

According to them, some of these drones can identify and select their target without the direct guidance of a human operator after reaching the desired range.

Experts have found in the remains of these drones small systems equipped with Nvidia’s Jetson Orin modules, which are designed for robotic applications and were used in these drones to process information related to target identification.
