Luxembourg Interior Minister Calls for Dialogue with Islamic Emirate to Repatriate Afghan Criminals
Luxembourg Interior Minister Leon Gloden has said that talks should be held with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to return Afghan citizens convicted of violent crimes in the country.
Gluden told the Luxembourg Würth newspaper that he had also consulted with German officials and that Germany was ready to cooperate in the process of returning Afghan criminals to Afghanistan.
These statements come at a time when a number of European countries are trying to pursue the process of repatriating Afghan citizens within the framework of dialogue with the authorities of the Islamic Emirate.
