Reuters reported that the humanoid robot Tiangong Ultra, developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center, ran 100 meters in 9.39 seconds at the World Humanoid Robot Championships.
By recording this time, the robot surpassed the record of 9.58 seconds set by Usain Bolt, the Jamaican sprint legend. Another robot named “Lightning” also covered the same distance in 9.47 seconds.
