Russia shoots down 637 Ukrainian drones over Moscow and surrounding areas

Russian officials say that in one of the largest drone attacks since the start of the war, 637 Ukrainian drones targeted Moscow and its surrounding areas during the night of August 17-18.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said the attacks lasted from the evening of August 17 to the morning of August 18, resulting in several injuries and damage to some infrastructure.

A warehouse belonging to e-commerce company Wild Brace has also caught fire following these attacks. Reports indicate increased financial losses to the company’s network of warehouses and logistics facilities following the recent attacks.

Russian officials have said that energy and infrastructure facilities have also been damaged in some areas.
