Iran’s recognition of the Islamic Emirate should not hinder the expansion of relations between Tehran and Kabul

Esmail Begaei, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, says Tehran and Kabul should consider each other’s concerns in their interactions and use economic and trade capacities to expand cooperation.

Mr. Baghaei said that Iran will continue and strengthen its relations with Afghanistan in various sectors, regardless of the issue of recognizing the Islamic Emirate.

He considered the issue of recognizing the Islamic Emirate a legal and political issue, adding that a decision will be made after reaching a final conclusion.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has emphasized that this issue should not prevent the continuation and development of comprehensive cooperation between Tehran and Kabul.
