Poland offers to intercept Russian missiles over Ukraine

Polish Foreign Minister Radu Sław Sikorski has suggested that the country intercept Russian missiles before they enter Polish airspace and over Ukrainian skies.

He said that this issue requires serious consideration and should not turn into internal political competition. Sikorsky also acknowledged that Ukraine currently does not have the ability to counter Russian ballistic missiles.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Air Force has announced that it failed to intercept any of the missiles fired during Russia’s nighttime attacks on Kiev; according to the Telegraph newspaper, 115 drones and 28 missiles were fired at targets in the Ukrainian capital, killing at least 15 people.
