At least 15 killed in Russian-Ukrainian exchange of fire
At least 15 people have been killed and several others injured in the retaliatory attacks by Russia and Ukraine, according to reports.
The Associated Press reported, citing Russian-appointed officials in Zaporizhia, that Ukrainian attacks on recreation centers in Russian-controlled areas left 12 dead, including four children, and 19 wounded; Ukraine has not yet responded to this.
In contrast, Ukrainian officials have announced that a Russian drone attack on a civilian facility in the Somi region killed three people. The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the target of the attack was a location where Ukrainian drones were stored.
At the same time, Zelensky warned of Russia’s readiness for widespread missile attacks in the coming days, and a White House official also announced the possibility of Donald Trump and Zelensky meeting in Washington.
