A number of Jordanian national, political, academic, cultural, and tribal figures have issued a statement calling on the country’s government to end the presence of foreign forces, especially American forces, on Jordanian soil.
The signatories of this statement emphasized that the continued presence of a foreign military in the face of escalating regional tensions could expose Jordan to security, political, and economic risks.
This request comes at a time when in recent days some regional movements have also called on Arab countries not to allow their territory to be used for military operations against other countries.
