Media outlets have reported several explosions near the hotel where French President Emmanuel Macron is staying in downtown Damascus.
Reuters news agency, citing a security source, reported that several homemade bombs exploded near the hotel where Macron was staying.
A reporter for Al-Arabi TV also announced that two explosions occurred after Macron left the Four Seasons Hotel in central Damascus.
SANA news agency reported that the French president was at the People’s Palace to meet with his Syrian counterpart. So far, no reports have been released about possible casualties or damage from these explosions.
