Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar left for Iran to attend the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs has issued a press release announcing that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhand, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, has left for the Islamic Republic of Iran today, Thursday, July 2, to attend the funeral of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the former religious leader of Iran.

According to this press release, Mullah Amir Khan Mottaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, will also accompany Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar on this trip.
