Congress to consider bill to end US military support for Israeli aggression in Lebanon

The United States House of Representatives is voting today (Tuesday) on a bill aimed at ending Washington’s military support for the Israeli regime’s aggression in Lebanon.

This proposal was introduced by Democratic Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and calls on the Donald Trump administration to stop any military participation in the ongoing aggression against Lebanon.

According to reports, the bill has the support of a number of Democratic representatives, but it also requires the votes of a number of Republican representatives for final approval.

This is the second similar bill to be introduced in the US House of Representatives this month. The previous bill failed to gain the necessary majority despite the support of 91 Democrats and one Republican.
