Some regional media outlets have reported that several explosions were heard this morning around Ali Al-Salem Air Base, where American forces are stationed in Kuwait.
Al-Ghad Network reported that the base was targeted in a missile and drone attack; Yemen’s September 26 News Agency also claimed that several ballistic missiles were fired at the Ali al-Salem base.
Meanwhile, Al-Rashid TV channel, citing Kuwaiti military sources, announced that the country’s air defense systems are countering missile and drone attacks.
As of the time of publication, Kuwaiti and United States officials have not released further details about the extent of damage or possible casualties from these attacks.
