Baghaei:We do not have a plan to inspect the organization’s damaged nuclear facilities
A Foreign Ministry spokesman announced that Iran had no meeting with Rafael Grossi and that there are no plans for the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect the damaged nuclear facilities.
He emphasized that the process of cooperation with the organization will continue based on the NPT treaty and no new guidelines have been defined for this issue.
Baghaei also said that oil and petrochemical sanctions have been temporarily suspended and the nuclear issue and the lifting of sanctions will be reviewed within the framework of negotiations and within a 60-day period.
In another part of his speech, referring to the Swiss meeting, he said that after some tensions and threats, direct talks were stopped and the exchange of messages continued through mediators.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that Iran’s defense and missile issues are never on the agenda of negotiations, and decisions regarding frozen assets are made based on national interests.
