After attending the Group of Seven (G7) summit, US President Donald Trump announced that he would maintain US military forces in the Persian Gulf region for some time.
In recent statements, he said that if other countries have ballistic missiles, it would be “a little unfair” for Iran to be deprived of having a number of these missiles.
Referring to the difference between ballistic missiles and nuclear weapons, Trump emphasized that the two issues are separate and should not be confused.
The US President added that if countries like Saudi Arabia and Qatar have ballistic missiles, in his opinion, Iran could also have a number of these missiles.
