Indonesia’s Lutubu volcano erupts 6 times, sending ash 3.1km high

Indonesia’s Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation Center announced that the Utububi volcano in the country has erupted six times.

According to the center’s report, following these eruptions, volcanic ash rose to a height of 3.1 kilometers and was scattered in surrounding areas.

Indonesian authorities are monitoring the situation of the volcano and have taken the necessary measures to reduce potential risks and protect residents in areas near it.
