Complete blockage of the Strait of Hormuz and cessation of traffic in the Persian Gulf

In some subtitles published by the Iranian News Network, citing the Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) headquarters, it has been reported that the Strait of Hormuz has been completely blocked and no traffic is being carried out on this route.

The report also states that, based on “live images from the Persian Gulf,” the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have taken full control of the Strait of Hormuz following the threats.

This is despite the fact that the Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important strategic energy ports, and any change in the status of maritime traffic there is usually accompanied by a widespread international reaction.
