The Central Headquarters of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) of Iran announced that in response to the US military’s attacks on areas in the south of the country, a number of US bases in the region have been targeted by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic.

The statement from the base stated that the US attacks were carried out under the pretext of a helicopter crash, and that if any aggression is repeated, more extensive and severe responses will be carried out against predetermined US targets in the region.

At the same time, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that this morning several points in Jask, Sirik, and Qeshm were targeted by US attacks, as a result of which a telecommunications tower in Sirik was damaged and two water tanks in the Bemani section of the district were destroyed.

The IRGC also stated that in response to these attacks, its naval forces targeted the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain with a drone at 2:30 AM.

According to the statement, the clashes are still ongoing and if the attacks continue, more severe responses will be forthcoming.
