News sources reported that in the continuation of the wave of arrests in Bahrain, 20 scholars, Quran reciters, and Shiite activists have been arrested on charges of collaborating with Iran.
According to reports, five Shiite scholars, including Sayyid Yasin Mousavi, Sheikh Ali Al-Mustarishd, Sheikh Ja’far Ashour, Sheikh Nazir Malik, and Sheikh Mahmoud Taheri, are also among those arrested.
It is said that security officers arrested these individuals after raiding their homes.
With the new arrests, the number of clerics and religious figures detained since the beginning of recent regional tensions has reached 58.
