According to news sources, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres strongly condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on Qatar, which is considered a violation of the country’s sovereignty.
This attack, which was carried out against the leaders of the Hamas movement in Doha, the capital of Qatar, sparked widespread reactions from regional countries and the international community.
Esmail Baghaei, spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, called the action “criminal” and a “gross violation of international law,” and called it a warning to the international community about the dangers of continued inaction against the Zionist regime’s aggression.
The countries of Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and the Islamic Jihad movement also strongly condemned the attack.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry considered it a cowardly act and a violation of Qatar’s sovereignty, and called on the international community to take responsibility.
Kuwait and Saudi Arabia also issued separate statements condemning the aggression.
Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, while announcing full support for Qatar, emphasized the need to take action against this aggression.
The Islamic Jihad movement also described the attack as “barbaric” and contrary to human values and international law, and held the US government responsible for it due to its support for the Zionist regime.
Following this attack, Qatar announced that it had suspended its mediation between the Israeli regime and Hamas.
These developments have raised serious concerns about the escalation of tensions in the region and its impact on peace talks.
The international community and regional countries have called for accountability and immediate action to prevent the recurrence of such aggressions.
