As the Israeli army continued its attacks on southern Lebanon, various areas in the Marjayoun and Nabatieh provinces were targeted by artillery and air strikes, causing extensive damage.
An Al Jazeera correspondent reported that the Israeli army targeted the town of Balat in the Marjayoun region with artillery attacks, and at the same time, two explosions occurred in the towns of Balat and Debin.
Israeli warplanes have also reportedly bombed the area around the town of Arab Salim in southern Lebanon.
Images released from the town of Tebnin also show widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure following recent attacks.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health has announced that the number of victims of attacks and clashes since March 2 has reached 3,468 dead and 10,577 injured
