NASA unveils plan to build first human habitat on the Moon by 2036

NASA announced its roadmap to build the first permanent human base on the Moon by 2036, introducing a series of robotic and manned missions.

Based on this, the program will create the physical and logistical infrastructure necessary for a long-term human presence on the Moon, an environment that is considered one of the most difficult and dangerous areas known for human life.

NASA has announced that the project will be implemented in the form of three main missions, and the required equipment will be transported to the south pole of the moon, an area of strategic importance due to the possibility of the presence of frozen water.

The program’s first mission is planned for fall 2026 and will use Blue Origin’s advanced lander to deliver equipment to the lunar surface.
