The US Congressional Research Service has published a report on the extent of the country’s military’s air losses in the war against Iran.
According to this report, the total number of damaged, lost, or destroyed American aircraft is about 42, including 17 fighter jets and 25 drones.
The report states that the US Department of War has not yet provided a comprehensive assessment of the extent of the damage, but has recently announced that the costs of the war are estimated at around $29 billion.
According to this report, the announced figure does not include damage to US bases in the region and the Middle East.
