Lebanese Hezbollah announced that its forces have targeted and destroyed a Merkava tank and two Israeli military bulldozers in several operations in southern Lebanon since Friday morning.
According to the Hezbollah statement, the group’s forces also targeted several Israeli military positions and gatherings in the areas of Tayyiba al-Bayada and Hadata with rockets, artillery shells, and roadside bombs.
Hezbollah said the operations were carried out in response to ceasefire violations and Israeli attacks on villages in southern Lebanon.
The statement continued by saying that Israeli helicopters have entered the area to evacuate casualties from their forces.
