Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft successfully launched into space
The Tiangong-10 cargo spacecraft was successfully launched into space with a Long March 17Y carrier rocket from China’s Wenchang Space Center.
“Tianzhou 10 is China’s tenth cargo spacecraft, designed to transport food, fuel, and scientific instruments to the Tiangong space station, and its mission is to support astronauts stationed on the station.”
This spacecraft carries cargo into space, including food and water, scientific equipment, technical components, and fuel needed to adjust the space station’s orbit.
The Long March 17-E missile is also a version of the Long March 7 missile family, which is used to launch heavy cargo missions into Earth orbit and is capable of carrying several tons of cargo.
China is using a combination of the Tianzhou spacecraft and the Long March 7 rocket to supply and maintain its space station, similar to Russian and American cargo spacecraft missions.
