North Korea is not adhering to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty
North Korean state news agency (KCNA) It has declared that the country is not adhering to any Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
The news agency quoted North Korea’s permanent representative to the United Nations, Kim Song, as saying that the United States and some other countries are spoiling the atmosphere at the 11th Review Conference of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty by raising the issue of Pyongyang’s nuclear weapons.
He added that North Korea’s position as a nuclear-weapon state “will not change according to unilateral statements or demands from external parties.”
