UNICEF :continues restrictions Afghanistan faces severe shortage of female teachers and health workers

UNICEF has warned that continued restrictions on girls’ education and women’s work in Afghanistan could lead to a shortage of more than 25,000 female teachers and health workers by 2030.

According to the report, the decline in women’s participation in civil service and the deprivation of more than one million girls from education have undermined access to educational and health services.

The organization also warned that continuing this situation will cause an annual loss of about $84 million to the country’s economy.
