Possibility of UK-Afghan talks on repatriation of migrants ruled out

International media quoted British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmoud as saying the country may enter into talks with Afghan government officials on the return of rejected Afghans.

He said the decisions of European countries to deport Afghan migrants were being closely monitored.

According to reports, nearly 30,000 Afghan refugees applied for asylum in Britain between 2022 and 2024.

Previously, some European countries had announced the possible visit of a delegation from the Islamic Emirate to discuss the return of rejected migrants.
