The analytical news website Politico reported this morning (Friday, 16th of April ) that despite Donald Trump’s claims about holding the winning cards, he may be forced to back down and make concessions in order to reach an agreement with Iran.
“I think he (Trump) will accept more compromises because he desperately wants to end this war,” Yaltaiko wrote, citing a senior official from a Gulf state familiar with the negotiations.
The Arab official added: “Trump is serious about negotiations and desperately wants this war to end, but the Iranians have so far refused to give him what he needs to save face and get out of the crisis.”
