North Korea tests strategic cruise and anti-ship missiles from destroyer Choe Hyun
North Korea’s Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that two strategic cruise missiles and three anti-ship missiles were fired from the destroyer Choe Hyun and hit their targets with high accuracy.
This test was conducted on Sunday, March 13, as part of an assessment of the effectiveness of anti-ship operations.
North Korean leader Kim Jong-un personally supervised the test and also received briefings on two other destroyers under construction.
He called improving strategic and tactical attack capabilities his top priority.
