Etihad Airways increases flights to Kabul to daily

Etihad Airways announced that it will increase its flights between Abu Dhabi and Kabul to daily flights from 10th of April 2026.

The company said in a press release that the increase was in response to high passenger demand earlier this year.

Eric Day, Etihad Airways’ Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, said: “Since the launch of Kabul flights in March, we have seen strong and sustained demand from passengers between Afghanistan, the UAE and other destinations.

Etihad added that the increase in daily flights will increase travel flexibility and enhance easy connectivity between Kabul, Abu Dhabi and other destinations in the airline’s global network.

Etihad Airways began its flights to Afghanistan on March 20, 2026, with four flights per week between Kabul and Abu Dhabi.

Currently, 10 international airlines, including Etihad, provide passenger and cargo transportation services in Afghanistan.
