Concerns over the situation of Afghan women and children in Iran following the continuation of the deportation plan

The human rights organization Hana has expressed concern about the situation of Afghan women and children in Iran, as the plan to organize and expel “illegal” Afghan nationals continues.

The organization said in a report that the widespread implementation of this plan could expose Afghan children to the risk of separation from their Turkish families, education without identity, and deportation.

HANA has also warned that returning Afghan women and girls without an individual assessment of potential risks could expose them to serious violations of fundamental rights.
