Reflections from the No Kings protests, the continued widespread protests by Americans against Donald Trump’s policies
Thousands of people have taken to the streets across the United States to protest Donald Trump’s policies, including the deportation of refugees and his war policies, especially the war with Iran.
This is the third phase of widespread protests against the US president, which are being held under the slogan “No Kings.”
Anti-Trump protests are planned in more than 3,200 separate events in 51 US states and in several cities in each state, and are considered one of the largest protests in American history.
With this demonstration, protesters are expressing their opposition to Trump’s authoritarian tendencies, expansion of presidential powers, war and foreign policies, strict immigration policies, and any kind of individual government, and are emphasizing the defense of democracy and the rule of law.
